Carbon Black

Carbon Black is broadly categorized under three heads – reinforcing, semi-reinforcing and specialty blacks. Reinforcing grade black is used for applications that need good durability such as tyre treads, sidewalls, engine mounts, and conveyor belts and so on. Semi-reinforcing grade is used in applications that need flexibility and elasticity, such as tyre sidewalls, hoses, belts, and so on. Specialty blacks are used as black pigments and performance fillers in products such as printers, coatings, and so on.

Main properties of carbon black is particle size, agglomerates, structure form, surface area etc. Some of the grade available are N Series of 220, 330, 550 and 660 mesh. Our carbon black grades have huge potential and can be used in various applications ranging from “Rubber Conveyor Belts, Rubber Moulds, Rubber Rings, Rubber Extrusions like Door Packing and hoss, Rubber boots and soles of Footwear, Commercial Tires, Paints and Ink.

Features

  • Products ideal for partial substitution of traditional carbon black grades.
  • Excellent tensile strength.
  • Higher resistance to abrasion and tear.
  • Ease of dispersion.
  • Excellent mechanical properties.

Applications

  • Technical Rubber (Conveyor Belts, Rubber Matts, Gaskets, Moulds, Rings)
  • Black masterbatch
  • Shoe soles
  • Rubber tyres
  • Paints
  • Inks

Our Carbon Black Grades

It has typical characteristics which can be used against Furnace Carbon Black of N550 Grade. For the purpose of better handling and superior dispersion it is available in powder forms.
